About this position:

Liberal Arts Technologies and Innovation Services (LATIS) provides liberal arts-specific expertise, facilities, and technology services to support the innovative work of the CLA community. We further the college’s mission by partnering with faculty, staff, and students to enhance learning, advance research and creative work, and improve processes.

The Educational Technologies Consultant will serve as an expert and consultant to design and develop innovative teaching, online learning in a variety of formats including programs, online courses, hybrid courses, and technology-based class assignments. The consultant will partner with CLA faculty to utilize technology effectively for teaching and learning in both online and in-person environments. The consultant will also contribute to projects and initiatives in the interest of improving educational technology and more important, contribute to the College of Liberal Arts mission.

We seek someone who will complement and reinforce the strengths of our team. Current areas of expertise include: online and hybrid course design, visual design, digital mapping, digital storytelling, media in teaching and learning, web mapping, and digital literacy curriculum development. Other areas of interest include learning analytics and data visualization.
