University of North Carolina – Two positions in Faculty Development with Teaching
The University Teaching and Learning Commons at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro is growing. We have two new positions open in our Teaching Innovations Office. Both positions have a teaching load assigned to them – either in our Residential Colleges (interdisciplinary general education) or through an academic department.
The Teaching Innovations Office in the University Teaching and Learning Commons serves as the central faculty development office of UNCG and provides university-wide support for a diverse teaching community. This includes New Faculty Orientation, SoTL Colloquiums, workshops, summer institutes, and more. Additionally, the TIO supports the broader work of our partnering UTLC offices (Residential College Office & Undergraduate Research, Scholarship and Creativity Office. The TIO is seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Assistant Director for Technology Enhanced Pedagogy and a Coordinator for Faculty Programs and Services.
The Assistant Director of Technology Enhanced Pedagogy position supports faculty development and exploration of teaching technologies and the learning process. The Coordinator of Faculty Programs and Services position supports the Associate Director of the UTLC (that directs the Teaching Innovations Office) in campus-wide faculty development.
