The Mind and Body Approach to Nourishing the Brain

As for the body approach, it is crucial to start with a balanced diet to ensure that the brain is getting all the nutrients it needs. Reducing added sugars and an excess carbohydrate intake can be the first step. The second step is to replenish the microbiome with prebiotic and probiotic rich foods. The third step is to incorporate healthy fats and antioxidants to help combat the negative effects that stress may have on the body.
