West Bloomfield School District – Student Teacher (World Literature)

West Bloomfield School District is looking for a student teacher to assist in teaching World Literature.
This person may be teaching a class of no more then 7/8 students. He or she will be in charge in implementing a lesson plan that West Bloomfield’s Literature teacher has created. He or she will be expected to create a stimulating, dynamic learning environment. Must have strong classroom management skills, be able to motivate students, assist with basic writing skills and maintain communication with parents. (The office staff will assist.)

West Bloomfield School District does use PowerSchool for attendance and grades. Training is available if candidate is not familiar with PowerSchool.

This is a paid employment opportunity.

Any students with IEP/504s have access to a Resource Teacher and will be sent to his classroom for additional support.

Academic Summer School is from June 26 to July 31, July 3 & 4 are off for the Independence Day Holiday.

There are two class sessions:
Semester 1: 8:00 am to 10:35 am
Semester 2: 10:50 am to 1:20 pm
