Happy Halloween Warriors!
I hope everyone is continuing to have a wonderful semester! We are a little past the half way mark so hang in there!!!!
A few things to be on the look out for in the Detroit area. Currently the Michigan Opera Theatre is in the process of putting on their second opera of the season, The Passenger by Mieczyslaw Weinberg. This is a relatively new opera that is about the Holocaust that occurred during World War II. The Passenger has only been performed a few times worldwide, so this will be an amazing experience.
I can tell you just from observing one of the rehearsals that The Passenger will be a life-changing experience. All of the artists are filled with unspeakable talent and have truly gathered the meaning behind this opera. Multiple languages will be sung in this opera including Polish, German, Russian, French, Yiddish, Czech, and English. (michiganopera.org).
The Passenger will be shown at the Detroit Opera House on November 14,18, 21, and 22, 2015. This is a show you do not want to miss!! Tickets start at $29. Come out and enjoy The Passenger opera.
Again, Happy Halloween to all and have a safe and fun night!!!!
