Position Overview:
Jomar Group, a manufacturer and distributor of innovative plumbing, industrial and HVAC components, is seeking a Staff Engineer, to support all of its divisions. The successful candidate would possess education and early job experience in the Mechanical Engineering Field. The candidate must also have an educational background and or working knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems

• Create and maintain 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings of existing and new products
• Quality Control inspections of returned and defective products
• Create, organize and massage excel data sets for use in multiple projects
• Reviewing engineer specifications and drawings of commercial projects and doing Takeoffs / Project
• Assist in creating, and maintaining accurate technical specifications and literature with marketing
• Understand the CSA, UL ,NSF rating regulations for Valves/HVAC equipment
• Manage and expedite multiple sub-projects
• Product line technical training to sales staff
• Technical support to the product line
• Technical sales

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience. (Education may be taken in conjunction with experience)
• Educational or practical knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems
• Firm grasp of fluid mechanics and concepts such as: flow rate, head loss, CV value, differential pressure, Hydronic balancing, heat exchange, piping and pumping system design
• Computer Program proficiencies: Strong Excel skills, AutoCAD, Power Point, MS Word and Outlook
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Aggressive nature, independent thinker
• Excellent interpersonal skills with team members and clients
