Wayne State University School of Social Work Alumni Association – Annual Awards Luncheon

Join the Alumni Association in honoring Risarg (Reggie) Huff, M.S.W., Alumnus of the Year and Kem, Citizen of the Year.

Friday, March 29, 2013 – 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Campus Location: McGregor Memorial Conference Center.  Guest Parking available in Structure 1 located at 450 W. Palmer. $6.00 credit card (no cash) must swipe card in and out. See for a campus map and further parking information.

Risarg (Reggie) Huff, 81’ M.S.W. graduate. A licensed social worker practicing for more that 30 years, Reggie currently serves as director of homeless services for Neighborhood Service Organization (NSO). In addition, he is an adjunct faculty member at the Wayne State University School of Social Work. Reggie was nominated because of his dedication not just to managing homelessness, but to ending it.

Universal Motown Records recording star Kem. Kem openly shares his personal story of rising from homelessness and addiction. His eagerness to help those who helped him prompted him to found Mack & Third, Inc., a non-profit corporation that assists organizations that support the homeless community. We honor Kem for his dedication to the homeless population in Detroit and the surrounding area through volunteer work and charitable donations.
