www.typeradio.org

This is an unusual industry resource where hosts Donald Beekman and Liza Enebeis have been interviewing typographers and designers who work with type since 2004. Their range is extensive and their interviews entertaining.

Great tool for all type related questions.

Much more refined than a typical Google search (obviously).

Dominic le Hair

Dominic le Hair makes a slick magnetized poster by cutting rubber magnets into letters with an x-acto knife and sandwiching them between sheets of paper before dusting it with iron fillings

Another interesting medium.

Dana Tanamachi

Tanamachi is very well-known for her chalk typography work. Chalk is not a commonly used medium and I can see that she has mastered it.

Craig Ward

There is irony in a lot of Ward’s work and I find that very intriguing.

He is most well-known for his “Bad typography is everywhere poster.”

An expert in his field of 3D typography, Labrooy is a freelance designer and illustrator based in the UK.

I find his excellent use of color and bold statements to be inspiring.
