Contract Employer 1010: What Everyone Should Know About Working with or as a Contract Employee

Brightwing, a leader in engineering contract staffing across several industries,  is coming to The College of Engineering on Wednesday, November 20th for a lunch and learn equipped with pizza!

Topic: What every student/alumni needs to know about working with a contract employer

Many engineering alums will work with a third party employer and all will likely have peers in industry that will work as contractual engineers. Automotive, Manufacturing, Computer Engineering and Construction are the most common industries with contract employees, but this does not encompass them all. To be sure you are prepared for the workforce, or for more information before entering into a contract, Brightwing will let you know what it is, what it is not and how to make sure you have a positive experience.

Come an learn from Brightwing on Wednesday, Nov 20 between 12:00 and 2:00 in room 1520 of the Engineering Design Center.

The Contract Employment 101 presentation will occur at 12:00 noon with plenty of time for questions and answers. All Engineering majors could bring their resumes for Brightwing.

Refreshments will be provided.
