Faurecia to Benefit Gleaners During WSU October 3rd Career Fair with Twitter

Hello WSU Engineering Students!

Every September, Faurecia hosts a food drive at each of its 47 locations in North America. Food donations from the employees and monetary contributions from Faurecia help our 28 food bank partners to alleviate hunger in communities across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. In the U.S. alone, one in six people are food insecure. Our employees participate in raffles, bake sales, dunk tanks, golf outings, karaoke competitions and dozens of other activities to raise funds for this important cause. Employees and their families also participate in volunteer days at the food banks. Since 2010, Faurecia and its employees have donated more than 1.3 million meals to neighbors in need. You can learn more about our program and follow our progress for the 2013 campaign at

During the Fall Career Fair campaign, we would like to showcase the Faurecia Unites with Employees for Local Service (FUELS) initiative at the universities to raise awareness about Faurecia’s partnership with employees to improve the communities we live and work in. In support of our annual food drive, during the Engineering Fair at Wayne State on 10/3, Faurecia will donate $1 for every new follower on our Twitter handle @FaureciaNA_Jobs. This donation, up to $250, will benefit the local Gleaners Community Food Bank. We are excited to see you at the event and excited to work with you to provide meals to those in need!

Kind Regards,
Elizabeth Fleming
Faurecia Country Talent Acquisition Manager
