Job Description:

AVID tutors have the ability to guide students toward academic and personal excellence that will reach far beyond their high school years. As an AVID tutor, you are an active participant in the learning, growth, and personal development of students. Candidates will be selected because they have the ability to make a positive contribution to the lives of young people, and selected candidates will receive paid training prior to their placement in the AVID classroom to assure their readiness with this important work. Training for this position will be paid and provided prior to placement in the classroom with the teacher and students.

Working Conditions:

$12.25 Hourly via EduStaff (Online EduStaff application would need to be completed) www.EduStaffonline.com Part Time – Tues/Thurs 2-5 hrs. per day during school hours

Qualifications:

High School Diploma / some college required; College level credits in a teaching discipline preferred; Critical Thinker, Problem Solver, Organized, Efficient, Positive, Flexible
