Aim Higher

Lupton 46-53 and Bringhurst 53-59

I learned about font families. Each font has subsets of different variations weight and slanting. There various uses, example, flagging things down is easy with bold and italic families. There is also this idea that when transitioning between families, it should be from lower case roman to bold, sloped, caps. ┬áIt makes sense, but it’s only a guideline. I also found out that may italic type are actually not italic, but slanted roman. The term for this is “obliques”.
