I’m Back In Action! (Part 2)
Sep 25 2009HI GUYS! I have been gone for such a very long time now…5 weeks to be specific…I am sooooooooooooo sorry, but hey school started back and it is all they’re fault, every single bit! No, jk. These past 5 weeks, I have been beyond busy…so busy that I have devised a new way of sleeping. I call it interval sleeping. You know like sleeping 2 hours, waking up in the middle of the night (or shall I say morning) and study 3 hours, sleep 2, study 3…you get the jist of it right? I had no idea what I was thinking when I decided to take 6 (half of which are very demanding) classes. I am currently taking 3 online classes: Nutrition, Dance History, and Medical Terminology, and my classes that I have to actually be present in are Chemistry, Chemistry lab, and Math ESP. I try my best to stay up and complete all my work at once…but sometimes I just can’t stay up for 24 whole hours, studying without going to sleep that long is not even beneficial…so might as well take a nap. (Zzzzzzzzzzz) *YAWN* Sorry, was falling asleep over my laptop. I actually have a pile of homework I need to do right now (grrrr), and the thing is there is ALWAYS something to do. It’s nothing like high school (duh), where your teachers give you an assignment and you finish it a couple hours, study and everything is done. NO! Professors usually give you the semesters schedule, included in it are due dates for every assignment, exam dates, deadlines for chapter readings, and etc. So when you think you’re done, you are surely fooling yourself. There is no such thing as being done ok, the workload is neverending…when you finish one thing you just go on to the next…and the next….and the next…and the next. Until fall semester is over and you get a very short break until winter semester, well not really a break, it’s more like the period between the time it takes for you to stand up and sit down.

I can’t complain though because all of my professors are really cool hardworking people. No lazy professors this semester, thank goodness. And you know, some students love getting the easy professors who tell you that you don’t really need to come to class because everything is on blackboard, miss a day a week of class, uses the same exact exams over and over again every year, and are not thorough in their teaching, but let me say it is not at all a good thing especially if you are looking to take a higher level class at another time. It costs too much to not do things right the first time around. A lot of professors have reputations that their students make of them, so ask around…I’m sure someone can tell you a bit about the prof.
Well then, I am going to go start my math homework after I take a bathe (hopefully I won’t decide to go to sleep afterwards and not get anything done) and there may or may not be another blog post up tomorrow. We’ll see, all depends on how much I get done by tomorrow night.

Hi,
I am looking for a medical terminology class to take in the winter, do you know if the class that you are taking is available? I can’t find any in the course catalog?
Thanks a lot!
