Tues., Oct. 18 – Coalition for Community Social Workers (CCSW) Student Organization Meeting
Meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in State Hall, room 431.  If you are interested in social justice, community service, public awareness and education, and policy education and initiatives, plan on attending this meeting!

Fri., Oct. 21 – TWO EVENTS
National Make a Difference Day   
Join other Wayne State Students in participating in National Make a Difference Day from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. providing community service at a nearby school.   For more details, sign-up at

Four of Wayne State’s distinguished alumni are featured.   The event will be held in the Student Center Ballroom from 5 to 8 p.m., with a reception to follow.

Held from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Community Arts Auditorium.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
