School of Social Work Diversity Lecture on Cultural Competence is tomorrow

March is Social Work Month. As part of the celebration, our Annual Dean’s Diversity Lecture is scheduled for March 21, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., at the Spencer Partrich Law School Auditorium on the Wayne State University Campus.

This year’s topic is Cultural Competence with LGBTQI populations and will feature a keynote speaker; Lori Messinger , M.A., M.S.W., Ph.D., Professor and Director, School of Social Work, College of Health and Human Services, University of North Carolina, Wilmington.  Lecture includes book signing and panel discussion.

Lecture is free and open to the public.
