School of Social Work Alumnus lends expertise and support to Wigs 4 Kids

Wayne State University School of Social Work, M.S.W. graduate (2010), Corey Faulkner lends his expertise and support to Wigs 4 Kids.

Wigs 4 Kids, located in St. Clair Shores, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that reaches out to kids and young adults with hair loss. This program is available to any child or teen from ages 3 through 18 in Michigan at no cost to them or their families.  Corey is part of the Ancillary Support Services team which provides assessments and evaluations of needs.  Programming provided includes educational & medical support services to help children heal from the “emotional, social and psychological side effects of hair loss in an affirming setting.”
